Tail Wags & Purrs uses a GENTLE REWARDS TRAINING™ program that we designed to prevent trauma or stress to our pets during training.

Our Tail Wags & Purrs Gentle Rewards Training™ program creates a partnership with the dog or cat owners to train the pet in the most humane way.  We evaluate the pet by its personality and size.  This is extremely important for very small or timid dogs and cats not to receive a high level of stimulation during the inital training. 

We then determine how we will train the pet and which stimulation level (if any) is appropriate during the initial and follow up training. 

Your pet will willingly respond to our love, praise and reward training. Our owner training guide and Tail Wags & Purrs' on site training allows for minimum stimulation in the training of our pet when compared to the old fashion punishment systems. 

Yes we did say our pet.  Once Tail Wags & Purrs installs a Pet Stop  ® Fence, your pet becomes a part of our Tail Wags & Purrs family.

The Tail Wags & Purrs Gentle Rewards Training ™ program includes distraction training prior to the owner's supervised solo of the pet in which the dog is off the leash or dragging a leash in view of the owner and final testing of the pet prior to its release in the pet fence.
